Three Easy Steps. Our overall process involves three easy steps:
STEP #1 – Design. Provide us with the information we need to begin designing your site. You will need to choose which website package you want from us. You’ll also need to choose a website host (probably based on what themes are offered) and choose a theme or at least narrow it down to a few themes offered by the host. If you’re choosing the DIY website package, you’ll still need to gather the necessary information prior to training. Click here when you’re ready to begin.
STEP #2 – Review. Your initial site is produced as a draft online for you to see. Although the site is live and publicly visible, it’s unlikely anyone will see it because search engines won’t find it for a few weeks, and even then, your site needs to become established before it will show up high in search results. We make the site live so you can see how the site genuinely appears to everyone. This also allows you to get feedback from colleagues, employees, clients, friends, family, and anyone who’s opinion you trust. [More...]
STEP #3 – Improve. Similar to the writing of a good book, a website reaches true effectiveness and simplicity of design after it has gone through numerous drafts and revisions. The creation of a truly exceptional website is truly never completed — it is an ongoing work. As the time and budget permit, we’re happy to go through this process with you. Yet, our goal is to provide you with the training and skills so you can maintain the site. Even something as simple as a printed business card becomes outdated. A website can benefit from monthly or at least semi-annual review and improvements. Some of the improvements to your site will come from visitor feedback or requests from customers.
Ongoing Improvement. Our approach is based on a simplified version of the continuous improvement model. We’ve created the diagram below to show the process.
